This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and details of your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the pages securely and to fend off attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Cloudflare is certified under the EU US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision and, in addition, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
When you request the Starter Kit through our sign up form (fluxwire.kit.com), we process your email address. We also store the time of sign up and confirmation and the IP address used, so that we can prove your consent.
After signing up, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after you click it are you added to our list and given the Starter Kit to download.
The Starter Kit, and occasional emails about new workflows, our videos and our own offers, such as the planned Setup Guide.
Kit records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We only use this information in aggregate to improve our content.
The sign up form, list storage, sending and download are provided by Kit, Inc. (formerly ConvertKit), Boise, Idaho, USA. Kit processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses included in that agreement.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. After you unsubscribe, we delete your data; your email address may stay on a block list so that you receive no further emails (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
When you write to us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6 (1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Our mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail). We delete messages once they are dealt with and no legal retention obligations apply.
We are on YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. This website only contains plain links to these profiles, no embedded plugins. When you visit our profiles, the privacy terms of each platform apply. For the statistics of our Instagram page we are jointly responsible with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Art. 26 GDPR); Meta takes primary responsibility for fulfilling your rights.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3)).
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
